Another beautiful asylum in Massachusetts closed due to budget cuts. The
building, while still large, is smaller than it was due to a fire at one time. The rest of the building is condemned.
We have taken 2 visits to it so far. One during the day and one in the
evening. We would LOVE to check out the inside at some point. Somehow. Permission would be nice. Security is very tight there.
We were given a hard time on one occasion for being up there during the day just taking photos. Trespassing beyond the fence
would be unwise.
